Well here is the first card that I have made for a couple of weeks. The image and sentiment are from Lili of the Valley. The paper is Dovecraft sugar and spice. The card was made for a Docrafts challenge - Lili of the Valley pink and girly. I am not a girly sort of person and find all pink is too much for my taste but I love the colour combination of aqua and pink.

I have just sent this card to my student son. The image is a Lili of the Valley coloured with Promarkers.

A PennyBlack stamp that is a firm favourite of mine along with a stamp from Hobbycraft. This was made for a new friend of mine.

This is the first card that I have made for a challenge. It is the Clean and Simple black and pink. Although I usually do fairly plain cards this was still a challenge for me in more ways than one.

Doesn't time fly when you are having fun?  I can't believe we are already a week into February and I have made so few cards recently. But as I have nowhere to sell them and my family don't really appreciate the effort it doesn't really matter if I don't make many.  I do find that cardmaking helps me to forget other things for a while so must make more of an effort this week.

I took my cards to a carers group this week and a couple of women ooohed and aaahed over them and asked how much they were. I told them that they were all £1.50 and all of a sudden interest was lost... I KNOW I don't over charge but people just don't appreciate the time and effort let alone the cost involved in making a card!

Wih Sympathy

My friend has been caring for her elderly mother for the last 5 years or so.  Sadly her mother died yesterday so
I made this card. The stamp is from Papermania and the embossing folder is D'vine Swirls.

Well as Valentine's day is just around the corner I thought I had better make the effort...

I love these Murray and Ethel stamps from Creative Expressions, and the Docrafts V&A Hanoverian papers are just lush. I have had them for a week and they are fast becoming my favourites!
